TAXPAYER HERO: 2008.

State Senator Phil Erdman, District 47, Bayard.

Elected to the Legislature in 2000 and re-elected in 2004, Sen. Erdman has distinguished himself as a true ally of the taxpayers of our state.  A farmer by profession, he is a member of the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce and served as state president of the Nebraska Future Farmers Association in 1996-97.  Sen. Erdman rated highest on several NTF Legislative Voting Records and has worked vigorously to put brakes on the legislative reckless cycle of taxing and spending.  Unfortunately, Erdman was term limited out in 2008, but we sincerely hope that he continues public service.
