Johanns Gets An "A" For His Conservative Voting Record From Nebraska Taxpayers For Freedom

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) was recognized today with a 95% “A” record by the Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom (NTF) for his conservative voting record in the 111^th Congress.  Johanns maintained a record of advocating for fiscal restraint, limited government and less government interference.

"It is an honor to be acknowledged by the Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom,” said Johanns. “In a day and age when so many interest groups and elected officials search for justification to grow the government and spend the hard earned money of Americans, I am honored to be recognized for a record of supporting fiscal restraint, smaller government and lower taxes. As a fiscal conservative, protecting the taxpayers is a critical part of my examination of every vote in the U.S. Senate.
